Plugins

A plugin gives her a new ability: a tarot deck, office tools, dice. It is a folder of plain files and runs no code in the app. Before anything is installed you see who made it, what it may download, every host it may contact, and the tools it adds.

Install one

1. Open Settings → Plugins.
2. Press Browse plugins… to see the ones listed here. The list is fetched from latentpresence.com only when you press it, and nothing about you is sent.
3. Press Read it on one. Every file is checked against the fingerprint it was listed with, so a plugin changed since is refused.
4. Read the consent screen, then press Install, and turn it on for a character.

A plugin from a friend installs from a folder, a .zip or its address. One that is not in the list says so: install it only if you trust who made it. Plugins never update on their own.

Tarot

Draws from a full 78-card Rider–Waite–Smith deck and lays the spread on the wall behind her.

Office

Makes and edits Word documents and spreadsheets in folders you open for writing, in the Windows app with the companion. She never writes over a file she did not make, and asks before each write.

Write your own

Copy the template folder, change its id and its files, and install the folder to try it. The app checks it as it installs and names every problem. The full guide is docs/plugins.md, and editors can check plugin.json against its JSON Schema.
